My Bio

Way, WAY back in 2012-2013, I found this site, and built a body of written work. This work involved short stories, descriptive pieces, and some (pretty foul) poetry.

Life went on. I got a job. It somewhat took over my life.

2020 has been a weird one. I've spent some time reading through my old work. Some rediscovery has ensued. Perhaps I'll get some writing done. Perhaps I won't.

Here's to creative outlets and personal journeys.

Hi there. I've spent some time today reading a few bits and pieces from my works on this page. I wrote this stuff way, WAY back, during 2012 and 2013. It's been such a long time, I've actually forgotten ever writing these bits and pieces. I'm reading these pieces as if I were reading someone else's work. That's how it feels in a lot of ways. But in a weird way... I remember what inspired them. I recall the characters, the emotions I felt. The intensity behind it all. I really got a lot out of the whole 'creative writing' thing. Even though it was a pretty short burst of action here - perhaps a few months, or a year - I do still recall it being a satisfying, happy time. I was expressing stuff (through fiction, of course) that, at the very least, came from the heart. Not to mention exercising my imagination, too. Lots of good things. I'm a different man, now. I just turned 30. Coming back and reading through this stuff makes me wince at times. But I'm also genuinely impressed at

The other day I showed a new friend this old page of mine. It's been a loooong time, but it's refreshing to go over some of my old work with different eyes. Older eyes. The eyes of a man who isn't the same as when he first wrote these little things.
